Historic Rajasthan (Duration - 17 Days)
Destinations Covered: Delhi - Jaipur - Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Udaipur - BassiFort - Sawai Madhopur - Agra - Delhi
    
Day 01: Delhi
On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms on ready occupancy basis. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02-03 : Jaipur
Arrive Jaipur and proceed on an excursion to the Amber Fort. Ascend the fort on Elephant back. Visit Jantar Mantar, City Palace Museum, Royal Observatory. Jaipur is a great place to shop for carpets, semi precious stones, blue pottery, bed spreads.
Day 04: Mandawa
A compact little town of Shekhavati region, Arrive and check in into hotel. In the afternoon visit Havelis & beautiful frescoes. The medieval fort of Mandawa gradually rises on the horizon like a mirage. A painted arched gateway adorned with Lord Krishna and his cows leads to the bazaar. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Bikaner
Today enjoy city tour covering Junagadh Fort – constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 metre long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, Bhand Sagar Temple – The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm – a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel’s milk. It is a fact worth mentioning that Bikaner has the largest wool market in entire Asia.Overnight at hotel.
Day 06-08 : Jaisalmer
Morning city tour covering Jaisalmer Fort – built on the highest point of the Tricuta hill, Sun Gate. Outstanding features are Megh Durbar & various temples, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon–Ki-Haveli – some of the beautiful mansions with stone carving and lattice work of breath taking intricacy, Lodurva – A masterpiece of architectural grandeur. In the afternoon proceed to Sam sand dunes. The ripples on the wind-caressed dunes create enchanting mirages. Adventure freaks can go out on a camel safari- getting the real feel of the desert on the camel back. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09-10 : Jodhpur
Full day city tour covering Mehrangarh fort – unsurpassed in beauty & grandeur, it is one of the largest forts in India. Innumerable palaces in the fort, interspersed with sprawling courtyards, are intricately carved Jaswanthada – The 19th century royal cenotaph, a creation in white marble, Clock tower – The timely treasure of Jodhpur. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11-13 : Udaipur
Arrive Udaipur and transfer to the hotel. City tour of Udaipur visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari. Afternoon boat ride on lake Pichola. Overnight at Udaipur.
Day 14: Bassi Fort
Bassi Fort which glorifies the history of Chundawat clan was built in 16th century. Set Picturesquely amid hills, the quiet luxury of the palace offers a retreat into an aesthetically beautiful environment. Its towering gates, domes, arches, corridors and Mahals takes one back to Royal Magnificence of the past and the age of Chilvalry.
Day 15-16 : Sawai Madhopur
Sawai Madhopur is better known for it's close proximity to Ranthambhore National Park.Early morning game drive to Ranthambhore National Park which use to be the royal hunting ground for Maharaja of Jaipur.Early morning and evening jungle excursion to park.
Day 17: Agra
Morning visit to the Taj Mahal to view by sunrise, tour of Agra city, including Agra fort & itmad-ud-daulah's tomb.
